Winchester Fishing is proud to introduce the hottest finesse jig to hit the waters of fishing in years, the Winchester Slim Jim. What is special about the Winchester Slim Jim finesse jig? The key to this finesse jig is a 2/0 60 degree, turned eye, light wire hook with an O'Shaughnessy bend.

Because such a hook was not available, Winchester Fishing turned to Gamakatsu to produce one. The 60 degree bend, turned line tie has75% less hang-ups than the typical 90 degree bend. Another unique feature of this jig is the weight coming down the hook further than other comparable jigs on the market.The result is a balanced jig that slides over rocks, ledges, cables, etc. better than any other. The light wire allows for easier penetration and the O'Shaughnessy bend allows you to fight the fish while making it difficult for the hook to be thrown.

A true finesse jig not only offers a smaller hook, but also a finesse skirt. The 22 to 30 strands of premium silicone skirting give a more realistic presentation. As a result, this jig shines in largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass country, especially on lakes that have high fishing pressure. The end result is more strikes compared to the typical full profile jigs.
